Summer Teacher Training Workshop for Educators
Glenwood is excited to host its annual Summer Teacher Training Workshop, a comprehensive 3-day program designed to provide educators with effective strategies for supporting students with autism and behavioral disorders. The workshop will take place at Harper Chapel on Glenwood’s campus and offers two session options: June 16-18, 2025, and July 9-11, 2025.
This immersive training experience will equip teachers, administrators, and educational support staff with essential tools to enhance student success in both classroom and individualized settings. Attendees will participate in engaging discussions and hands-on learning focused on critical topics, including:
- IEP Planning for Sustainable Programming – Learn best practices for developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that foster long-term student growth.
- Leading Effective Collaboration Teams – Discover strategies to improve teamwork and communication among educators, parents, and support professionals.
- Advanced De-escalation Strategies – Gain practical techniques for managing challenging behaviors while maintaining a positive learning environment.
