Primrose School at Liberty Park Donates Books to Glenwood’s Mallie M. Ireland Children’s Center and Allan Cott School for Autism

Glenwood’s Mallie M. Ireland Children’s center in Avondale received a generous donation of books from Primrose School at Liberty Park, continuing a cherished tradition of sharing the love of reading with students and residents.

Each February, Primrose Schools across the nation participate in an initiative to collect new and gently used books to benefit children within their local communities. With more than 500 schools participating nationwide, this program fosters literacy and a lifelong love of reading among young learners.

Primrose School at Liberty Park has proudly chosen Glenwood as its local recipient for the past several years, citing the close relationship between the two organizations and a shared commitment to nurturing young minds.

“We are so grateful for the support from our neighbors at Primrose School at Liberty Park,” said Mary-Kate Carey of Glenwood. “These books not only support our educational programs but also spark imagination and joy among the children we serve.”

This year, Primrose School at Liberty Park donated nearly 600 books, making a significant impact on Glenwood’s classrooms at the Mallie M. Ireland Children’s Center and the Allan Cott School for Autism. The continued generosity of Primrose families and staff is deeply appreciated by all at Glenwood.

The donated books will enhance educational experiences and provide hours of enjoyment for the children. Donations like these are essential in supporting Glenwood’s mission to enable individuals to live life to their fullest potential.

Glenwood extends heartfelt thanks to Primrose School at Liberty Park for their continued partnership and generosity. Together, we are building brighter futures, one book at a time.
