Glenwood welcomes National Disability Advocate to speak at Power of Possibilities Luncheon
Glenwood proudly welcomes Amy Wright, founder of the Bitty & Beau’s Coffee chain, as the keynote speaker for the Power of Possibilities Luncheon on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Old Overton Club (7251 Old Overton Club Dr, Vestavia Hills, AL 35242).

Amy Wright has become a national advocate for individuals with disabilities through her work at Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, a company that provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the Power of Possibilities Luncheon, Amy will share her inspiring journey, highlighting the importance of workplace inclusion and the impact of creating opportunities for those who often face barriers to employment.
The Power of Possibilities Luncheon will bring together business and community leaders, advocates, and supporters for an afternoon of fellowship, a delicious meal, and the opportunity to support an important cause. Funds raised will directly benefit Glenwood’s programs for adults with autism and behavioral health needs.
“Amy Wright’s mission aligns perfectly with Glenwood’s vision to cultivate communities where the inherent dignity of people with autism and other behavioral health needs is recognized, and people of all abilities are empowered to thrive,” said Scarlet Thompson, Glenwood Chief Development Officer. “Her story is an inspiration, and we are honored to welcome her to the event.”
