Glenwood’s Power of Possibilities Gala brought together families, friends, donors, community partners and advocates Saturday, August 15, 2026, at The Club for a night centered on connection, generosity and the possibilities that exist when a community comes together.
The evening was a celebration of Glenwood’s mission to enable individuals to live life to their fullest potential, while raising support for the construction of a new Glenwood residential home that will serve four adults.
Some of the most meaningful moments of the evening came from two Glenwood parents who shared their personal stories and spoke about the ways Glenwood has changed their lives and the lives of their families. Their stories offered guests an intimate look at the impact of Glenwood’s work and the difference that having the right support can make.
Guests also got a glimpse into the everyday lives of the individuals Glenwood serves through a specially produced video that followed a day at Glenwood. From the people who provide care and support to the relationships, activities and moments that make each day meaningful, the video gave guests a firsthand look at the community they were helping support.
The energy in the room continued to build during the live auction, which generated plenty of excitement and friendly competition as guests bid on a variety of unique items and experiences. Together, their generosity helped Glenwood surpass its fundraising goal for the new residential home.
The new residence will expand Glenwood’s residential community and create a place where four adults can experience the comfort, stability and connection of home while receiving the support they need to live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
The Power of Possibilities Gala was more than an evening of fundraising. It was a celebration of the individuals Glenwood serves, the families who entrust their loved ones to Glenwood, and the community of people who continue to believe in what is possible.
