The article, Implementation of Research Review Committees: Examples from Human Service Organizations Influenced by LeBlanc et al. (2018), highlights five human service organizations that have successfully established Research Review Committees to support ethical oversight of research involving human participants.
The publication recognizes Glenwood’s efforts to develop a comprehensive Research Review Committee that helps ensure research is conducted ethically while protecting the rights and welfare of the individuals and families we serve. It also highlights Glenwood’s work to streamline research oversight and expand access to ethical research review for other provider organizations across Alabama.
Dr. Mary-Kate Carey, Glenwood’s ABA Training and Research Advisor and Chairperson of the Research Review Committee, served as lead author of the publication alongside several nationally recognized leaders in behavior analysis.
