Glenwood & Embrace Alabama Kids unveil sensory-friendly outdoor space
This unique outdoor space was built to provide a place for Overton Home’s children
to feel safe, breathe fresh air, and experience joy in a comfortable environment. It includes hardscape design, special paving, and play areas featuring sensory elements. Every path, every swing, and every element is designed intentionally to support their wonderful sense of adventure exploration, and entertainment.
Together, Glenwood and Embrace Alabama Kids partnered with a mix of many local partners and supporters to bring this outdoor space to life for the Overton Home residents while shining a light
on critical issues facing Alabama’s children, youth and families.
