Celebrating Connection: Employee Night at the Barons
At Glenwood, we believe that the heart of our mission starts with the people who live it every day, our dedicated staff. That’s why we were thrilled to host an Employee Night at the Birmingham Barons, a special evening filled with baseball, fellowship, and fun, all made possible by our BRIDGE Committee.
BRIDGE, which stands for Building Relationships in Diverse Groups Everyday, is a Glenwood initiative focused on building community, encouraging inclusion, and creating engagement across all departments and teams. Their goal is to provide opportunities for staff to connect outside of their daily responsibilities, celebrate each other’s unique contributions, and strengthen the bonds that make Glenwood a great place to work.
Employee Night at the Barons was a perfect example of that mission in action. Staff and their families gathered at Regions Field to enjoy a relaxing night out with great company, good food, and America’s favorite pastime. Laughter filled the stands as kids danced to stadium music and coworkers shared stories under the summer sky. Whether it was cheering on the Barons or catching up with team members from other departments, the evening reminded us all how important it is to simply spend time together.
Moments like this show what makes Glenwood special: a culture that values people and relationships as much as the work we do. We are grateful to our BRIDGE Committee for their creativity, energy, and dedication to helping our team feel connected and appreciated.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for making it such a memorable evening, and to our entire Glenwood family, stay tuned. BRIDGE is always planning more opportunities to bring us together and celebrate the incredible people who make Glenwood’s mission possible every day.
