Glenwood Receives $12,000 Donation from Hallmark Subaru
Glenwood is proud to announce it has received a generous $12,000 donation from Hallmark Subaru, part of Subaru of America’s 17th annual Share the Love® Event. The donation was celebrated during a check presentation ceremony held Wednesday, May 28, at Hallmark Subaru in Birmingham.
This significant contribution will directly benefit Glenwood’s wide range of programs that support individuals and families impacted by autism and other behavioral health needs. As Hallmark Subaru’s designated Hometown Charity for the event, Glenwood was selected to receive a portion of proceeds generated from every new Subaru purchased or leased at the Birmingham dealership between November 21, 2024, and January 2, 2025.
“We are incredibly grateful to Hallmark Subaru and the entire Subaru of America team for their continued commitment to giving back to the community,” said Christy Castleberry, President and CEO of Glenwood. “This generous donation will help fund critical services that empower those we serve to thrive and live life to their fullest potential.”
Since its inception in 2008, Subaru’s Share the Love® Event has raised nearly $320 million for national and local nonprofits across the country. Glenwood’s partnership with Hallmark Subaru ensures these dollars make a local impact, improving lives right here in Central Alabama.
Glenwood’s mission, to enable individuals to live life to their fullest potential, has remained at the heart of the organization. Through residential programs, outpatient therapy, educational services, and community outreach, Glenwood continues to serve hundreds of families across Alabama each year with help from partners like Hallmark and our generous donors.
