Birmingham Nonprofit Organizations Unite for Autism Acceptance Month

In a unified effort to promote autism acceptance and support individuals with autism, several Birmingham-Metro area nonprofit organizations have collaborated to launch a special fundraiser during Autism Acceptance Month this April. Glenwood, in partnership with Mitchell’s Place, Autism Support of Alabama, Studio by the Tracks, and KultureCity, is offering mailbox bows and yard signs to raise awareness and funds for autism-related programs and services.

The fundraiser features decorative mailbox bows and yard signs, allowing community members to visibly show their support for autism acceptance. Proceeds from the sales will directly benefit the participating organizations, enabling them to continue providing essential services to individuals with autism and their families.

Ready to show your support? Order Now to be directed to the landing page hosted by our friends at Mitchell’s Place and place your order. During checkout, be sure to specify Glenwood or Smith’s Variety in the comment section as your preferred pickup location, and that you’re supporting Glenwood with your donation. Once your order is ready, a Glenwood representative will notify you via email or phone to pick-up at the location selected.

This initiative exemplifies the strength of community collaboration in promoting autism acceptance and supporting those affected by ASD. By displaying these bows and signs, residents can play a vital role in fostering a more inclusive and understanding environment throughout the Birmingham-Metro area.

Join us this April in spreading awareness and acceptance for individuals with autism!
