
Research Review Committee
We are extending our in-house committee’s capacity to serving agencies across the state. In order to utilize the committee’s services, an agency will have to first apply to become an approved research site. Once approved, they can send in research proposals.
Research Review Committee
The Mission of the Research Review Committee (RRC) is designed to maintain and promote ethical conduct in behavior analytic research. Operating within Glenwood since 2021, the RRC is extending its service of reviewing research proposals from investigators in other agencies across Alabama at no cost beginning January 2024. The RRC adheres to state and federal regulations regarding conducting research within human subjects (Protection of Human Subjects, 2009).
The Process for conducting ethical research in Alabama using Glenwood’s Research Review Committee:
- Step 1: Apply to become an approved Research Site
- Step 2: Submit Project Proposal to RRC
