ABA therapy services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy helps children develop new skills, shape and refine previously learned skills, and reduce socially significant problem behaviors. Glenwood’s Mallie M. Ireland Children’s Center at Avondale offers full-time, comprehensive ABA therapy services. The Children’s Center is a nurturing environment that supports each child’s strengths, needs and interests through individualized, science-backed care.
How Glenwood Supports Growth
Our treatments are designed to reduce barriers to learning, minimize and treat challenging behavior, and effectively teach essential skills. At the Children’s Center, we prioritize helping children discover the joy of learning by developing positive relationships with instructors and creating supportive learning environments. Our interventions are carefully crafted to promote trust, rapport, choice and independence.
Children’s Center Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sessions are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

Our Team
Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) lead every care plan. Each holds a master’s degree in behavior analysis, education, or a related field and maintains certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. They oversee assessments, care plans, caregiver training, and collaborative care with providers and families.
Next Steps
We serve children ages 2-6 with a primary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. Before services begin, we conduct a full evaluation, share a detailed care report, and develop a customized ABA plan. Our Registered Behavior Technicians then deliver therapy one-on-one and in group settings to match your child’s individual needs.
