The first annual Magic City Miracle Day—a community service day organized by Liberty Crossings Methodist Church—took place on Sunday, September 30. Glenwood’s Parkland Place on Highland Avenue was one of the volunteer sites. Volunteers deep cleaned the inside, cleared out the overgrown brush, tended to the shrubs out front, planted ivy and other plants, installed a new cement bird bath, and pressure washed the stairs and walkway. Special thanks to Home Depot on 280 for their supplies and hard work! It was a rainy, messy day, but everyone did a great job!
