Glenwood receives donation from Heidelberg Materials

Glenwood is grateful for cementing a great relationship over the past seven years with LeHigh Cement Co. and Sherman Industries, which changed their names to Heidelberg Materials in January.

Hunter Worley, Kurt Milliman and George Garcia of Heidelberg Materials presented a check to Glenwood CEO Ken Oliver. Joining the presentation are individuals who live in Promise Home, which is managed by Glenwood, and participate in programs at Glenwood. Heidelberg representatives enjoyed learning more about how Glenwood uses their resources by touring Journey Academy, where adults with autism learn job skills and enjoy volunteering and leisure activities. They also saw Glenwood’s Arts Center and the Mallie M. Ireland Children’s Center where children receive applied behavior analysis and other intensive therapy services.

We are grateful to Heidelberg for caring about the people we serve and helping make the services families need available.
