31st annual Ireland Legacy Golf Tournament

The Ireland Legacy Golf Tournament celebrated its 31st year raising funds for services for adults with autism. It was a great day on the course, and we are thankful to the sponsors and golfers who supported adults with autism.

One highlight of the day was the ceremonial first putt by four individuals served by Glenwood. Team Glenwood consisted of Chance, Jody, Brandon, and Desmond (pictured below), and they proudly got the tournament started.

A group of boys from Glenwood’s Lakeview School dazzled the golf players with a short drumming demonstration. They enjoyed showing off their music reading skills which they learned in classes at Glenwood’s Arts Center.

First place gross went to former committee member, Patrick Drummond’s team, Kiva Dunes Resort and Golf. Capstone Communities took home second place gross and Vulcan Materials Company rounded out third place gross.

Longtime golf supporter, David Glidewell, and his team took home first place net. Amwins placed second in the net category while Southern Carpet, Hardwood and Tile got third.

Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, teams, golfers, and donors, the tournament raised over $182,000.
