Parent Training Series: Sleeping, Eating, and Toilet-training – Considerations for my child with autism

Dr. Mary-Kate Carey, Director of the Children’s Center, will lead a three-part training series focused on issues related to sleep, feeding, and toilet-training for children with an autism spectrum disorder. This class is geared towards families of young children with autism that are experiencing difficulties with any of these common child-development issues. Each class will cover one of the three topics and provide parents with research-based information as well as strategies they can implement at home. Additionally, parents will help to develop a written strategic plan for how to tackle each issue.

Glenwood’s Children’s Center, at 3721 6th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35222. Parking lot is around the back. 

Attendance to all three classes is not required. Parents and caregivers may choose which classes are most relevant to their current needs. Childcare is not provided. Lap infants are welcome.
