Child with Autism has Breakthrough in Kinect’s Gaming

John Yan, a game reviewer for a site called Gaming Nexus, decided to let his four-year-old son with autism, Kyle, try out the new Kinect motion controller for Xbox 360. In the past, Kyle was not able to operate game controls and did not understand the options.

John let him try the Wii and discovered the controllers and menu options were too difficult for him to maneuver.  With Kinect, Kyle understood exactly what to do according to his father. Kinect does not involve a game controller, instead it responds to the motions that you make. Will Kinect make gaming easier for the autistic? You decide.
