CBS 42, Birmingham- Thanks to the I-pod Touch and a new $600 program, called Proloquo2go, helping autistic children is much easier. While Proloquo2go is expensive, there is an inexpensive app called Iconverse, that's also helping children with communication disorders.

Liberty Crossings UMC to Host Dance for Adults with Autism

Birmingham- Liberty Crossings UMC has been a long time supporter and friend of Glenwood, Autism & Behavioral Health Center. Saturday, May 15, Liberty Crossings UMC will host the third annual Glenwood dance from 2 to 5 p.m.at Liberty Crossings UMC. The theme for this year is "Glenwood Rocks Beatlemania-All You Need is Love."

Riley Awards $2.5 Million to Help Nonprofits Cut Energy Costs

MONTGOMERY— Gov. Bob Riley has awarded almost $2.3 million in economic stimulus grants to help nonprofit agencies across Alabama save energy and reduce utility bills by upgrading equipment and making other improvements.
