Preschool Program Glenwood has several positions to fill for our 2011 Summer Day Treatment Demonstration classrooms. Positions available are for one Lead Teacher and seven Teacher Assts. Individuals must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong background in interventions relating to applied behavior analysis including structured teaching, visual/communication strategies and work systems.

Minimum position requirements LEAD TEACHER/CR550- M.Ed with valid AL teaching certification in Special Education, 2 yrs. experience working directly with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities in a classroom setting.

 TEACHER ASST. / CR560- 2 year post high school training in related field and/or 3 yrs. experience working with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.  All positions require certification in 1st Aid, CPR and MCS. Glenwood provides on the job training in these areas.
