Job Description:  Primary responsibility is to provide direct care to the individuals we serve with an Autism diagnosis. Direct care includes but is not limited to assisting them with daily living skills; feeding, toileting, showering, administering medication, and helping them reach different goals and objectives that have been established in the Individual Plan of Care. The individuals served exhibit mild, moderate or severe behavior problems. Instructors are also responsible for administrative paperwork.

Minimum Requirements: H.S. Diploma required; must be 21 years of age and over. Valid Alabama driver’s license and driving record acceptable to agency insurer. Must pass a criminal, social history background check as well as clearance through DHR’s Child Abuse and Neglect Registry and the ABI/FBI registry. Must be certified or able to pass agency required and provided trainings in CPR, 1st Aide, MCS and MAC.

1. Weds. & Thurs. 1p – 10p, Fri. 2p – 9:30p, Sat. 8a – 8p
2. Sun. 8a – 8p, Mon. & Tues. 1p – 10p, Weds. 1p – 9p
3. Fri. 9p – 9a, Sat. 7:30p – 8:30a, Sun. 7:30p – 9a
