| Job Information | Job Code: RS570 Job Description This is a Lead Instructor position with primary responsiblities of providing direct care to the individuals we serve with an Autism diagnosis. Direct care includes but is not limited to assisting them with daily living skills; feeding, toileting, showering, administering medication, and helping them reach different goals and objectives that have been established in the Individual Plan of Care. The individuals served exhibit mild, moderate or severe behavior problems. Person selected will be expected to approach the job with a positive attitude in providing staff supervision, completing all job responsibilites with a given timeframe using professional communication and accuracy, communicate with staff on a continual basis to insure continuity of care for clients, actively participate in the implementation of each Individual’s Plan of Care and complete required administrative paperwork accurately and efficiently. Minimum Requirements:H.S. Diploma equivalent; age 21 and over, valid AL driver’s license and driving record acceptable to agency insurer. Clearance through the AL Dept. of Human Resources Child Abuse/Neglect Registry and ABI/FBI Registry. Must be certified or able to pass agency required and provided training in CPR, 1st Aid, MCS and MAC.
